$30 million a year of taxpayers' money funds feminist bureaucracy

A glance at a telephone book reveals a plethora of government departments and agencies using taxpayers' funds to cater exclusively to women.

Look up "men" in the government index and nothing will be found.

The WA government directory lists the:

  • Women's Information Service
  • Women's Policy Office
  • Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Agency
  • Women's Sport Foundation of WA

The federal government funds the Sex Discrimination Commission (headed by feminist Pru Goward, this agency functions exactly as its name suggests).

Also, attached to the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet is the expanding feminist bureaucracy, The Office of the Status of Women. Large recruitment advertisements in The Australian newspaper of 1 May 2004 reveal that this agency is actively recruiting.

The advertisements boast that this office is: "responsible for providing advice, briefing and support to the Prime Minister and the Minister Assisting the Prime Minister for the Status of Women in relation to the labour market and workplace relations policy; childcare; education; taxation and superannuation policy, as they impact on women".

"This is an extremely strong Budget for Australian women. It provides substantial funding of $30 million for the Office of the Status of Women (OSW) - specifically designed to improve the status of women and to strengthen the women's sector," Minister Assisting the Prime Minister for the Status of Women, Senator Amanda Vanstone speaking on the 2002 budget.

Why is taxpayer-funded advice and assistance on these very important matters only available to women? Whatever happened to our egalitarian society?

Anti-male attitude reflected in American crime shows

In a recent episode of the American crime show, CSI, the police apprehended a man who had viciously beaten to death his wife's boss because, according to the investigators, the boss was the father of his wife's child.

The police and prosecutors were a bit ho-hum about it. Just a male beating another male to death. Serve the boss right for taking advantage of a female employee.  The murderer wasn't such a bad guy - he was only defending his wife's honour. So the prosecutors negotiated a guilty plea to lesser charge resulting in fours years jail for the murderer.

Later in the story, the police were a little miffed to find that the boss was an innocent party, he did not have sex with the employee. Never mind, these things happen.

Then the police found out that the murderer had been having sex with his 13-year-old step-daughter. Suddenly the investigators were galvanised into action. Now this was a serious crime.

"Now we've got him" said the grim-faced prosecutor, "the penalty for rape of a minor in the State of Nevada is a mandatory life sentence without parole".

Four years for beating a male to death - life for rape (or sex) with an under-age girl - seems fair.

Feminists influence governments into turning males into second-class citizens

Feminists manipulate government to demonise men in domestic violence advertising campaign

Feminism has achieved much for women but moderate feminists are concerned at the current direction of the movement.

Following years of highly-organised campaigning and lobbying, the feminist movement, now largely controlled by a group of male-hating extremists, is creating an increasingly anti-male world. The aim of this radical group appears to be to turn males into a despised group of second-class citizens.

The feminist warriors are well on the way to achieving these aims. Women are being given priority treatment in government recruitment, in the courts, in education and in judicial appointments.

Many males have been badgered and brainwashed into joining their campaign.

Feminists insidious  influence  on sex laws

Feminists have worked the legal system to get the crime of rape elevated above murder while widening the definition of rape. Rapists routinely get longer sentences than murderers.

The diabolical episode of the 30-second rapist

In 1985 the Western Australian parliament dramatically amended the law relating to rape, first by changing the term rape to sexual assault and then greatly widening the definition of what could be classed as sexual assault. Many acts not previously constituting rape were included in the new Act and the criteria for sexual assault was any type of penetration where consent was not present and ongoing. It did not matter that force or threats were not  used. The penalty for any type of sexual assault was increased to fifteen years imprisonment.

Where any type of force was used, the charge was aggravated sexual assault, carrying a penalty of twenty years imprisonment.

The draconian Act soon snared its first victim. Perth resident  Kevin Ibbs was having consensual sex with Christine Watson on the night of 29 November 1986. Watson, a close friend of Ibbs's wife, Katrina Carter,  was living in the same house with Ibbs and Carter. The sex act was taking place with the full knowledge of Carter who was in the house at the time.

As Ibbs was nearing ejaculation, Watson suddenly withdrew her consent to sex (so she later claimed)  and tried to push Ibbs away. He continued for a short time. Too late, he was trapped. He was charged with sexual assault and found guilty under the new law. The judge found that Ibbs had continued sexual intercourse for about thirty seconds without consent (for which he was later dubbed the 30-second rapist).  The judge sentenced him to four years imprisonment. [Details of the case]

Some years later Watson admitted to police that the whole incident was a set-up orchestrated by Carter to have Ibbs charged with sexual assault to get him out of the house they were sharing.

Christine Elizabeth Watson a.k.a. Christine Elizabeth Wardle and Katrina Ann Carter were subsequently convicted of conspiring to pervert the course of justice. They served seven months in jail.

Mr Ibbs was acquitted in 2001 but the damage was done. He says that his health has been affected, his career as a tradesman has been ruined and the whole affair has cost him over one million dollars.

Media in feeding frenzy over rugby team gang-rape allegations
Allegations by a 20-year-old woman that she had been pack-raped by six members of the Canterbury Bulldogs rugby league team at a hotel in the northern NSW resort town of Coff's Harbour on the morning of 22 February 2004 following a night of celebrations by the team sent the media into a wild feeding frenzy for the next three months.

The rugby players' guilt was automatically assumed. Head of a special police task force, Detective Chief Inspector Jason Breton had no doubt of the players guilt when he announced to the media that the woman was a victim of a "very vicious assault". A confidential police interview describing the allegations in graphic detail was leaked to the media. All of the focus was on the accused. Nobody questioned the veracity of the complainant.

Weeks of unsavoury media beat-up followed, severely damaging the standing of not only the team in question but all rugby players. Then it washed over into AFL with two St Kilda members being charged (by the media) with rape.

Finally, on April 28,  Chief Inspector  Breton reluctantly announced to the panting media that there was not enough evidence to proceed and the charges had been dropped. Breton however, made it clear he thought the accused were guilty although he gave no reasons why.

Some of the facts that have slowly come to light are:

  • In a signed police statement, the complainant admitted to engaging in consensual group sex with a number of the players on the night of February 18, just three nights before the alleged rape.
  • She also admitted having consensual sex with one player on the night of the alleged attack.
  • An independent witness sees the woman frolicking with a player in the hotel pool about 6.30am.
  • Shortly after, another independent witness sees a player sitting on the edge of the pool and the woman standing in the pool, giving him a head job.
  • The woman tries to enter the room of other players about 8am but is turned away.
  • Shortly after she cries rape. The police arrive about 9am.
  • A few days later a woman rang the Bulldogs club suggesting that all allegations would be withdrawn if $25,000 was paid.
  • Part of the complainants story was undermined by her friend, Kylie Hubbard.
  • The police admit that DNA evidence was inconclusive.

It is possible the players committed the offence. If that was the case the massive police resources thrown into the investigation should have produced charges.  In any event the players are entitled to the presumption of evidence until charged and found guilty.

The allegations cost the club an estimated $1.3 million in sponsorship deals, and cost the jobs of chief executive Steve Mortimer, former chief Peter Mortimer and football Manager Garry Hughes.
