Australian media corrupted by political correctness fail to report racist murder

Elizabeth Krantz - 14 January 2007

In the early hours of 1 January , 17-year-old Andrew Farrugia was waiting near a taxi rank with friends in the NSW rural town of Griffith when he was accosted by two young Aboriginal thugs spoiling for a fight with a white person.

After repeatedly taunting Andrew Farrugia, one of the Aboriginal youths grabbed him by the shirt and head-butted him twice. Then the other brave thug king hit him.

A number of the witnesses described the sound of the punch as making a cracking sound. According to police, Andrew became unsteady on his feet and friends took him to the road where he collapsed. As Andrew lay dying, one of the black thugs boasted, "this is how we roll around here".

In the extensive media coverage of the brutal murder there was no mention of a racist attack. In fact the media, with exception of an opinion piece by journalist Paul Sheehan ( one of the few Australian journalists not in the grip of political correctness), did not even mention that the perpetrators were Aboriginal.

You can bet that if a white person had killed an Aboriginal in such a fashion, the media would be screaming "racist attack" at the top of their voices.

Contrast this with the media treatment of Pauline Hanson. In her maiden speech in parliament Hanson made the rather innocuous statement that because of Australia's immigration policies "I believe we are in danger of being swamped with Asians".

The mainstream media went into meltdown. Hanson was called a racist and every form of abuse was hurled at her. Journalists dogged her every movement and every public meeting just looking for ammunition to slander her with.

Following the so-called "Cronulla riots" the media again went overboard, labelling the Australian youths in particular and white Australians in general as "racist".

Again, contrast the coverage of the racist murder of Andrew Farrugia with the media treatment of the reign of terror perpetrated by the murderous black monster, Robert Mugabe. Helped into power by leading Australian bleeding heart and former Prime Minister,  Malcolm Fraser, Mugabe has presided over the genocide, through starvation and murder, of a once-prosperous Zimbabwe.

Where are the bleeding hearts and do-gooders, who whipped up by the politically correct mainstream media, protested in their tens of thousands over the South African apartheid regime?

Apart from the occasional journalist who ventures into Zimbabwe, the media is silent on this black psychopath.

Around 1000 mourners crowded Griffith's Sacred Heart Church to farewell popular teenager Andrew Farrugia, bashed to death on 1 January by two 15-year-old Aboriginals.

The racist Mugabe initiated  the genocide of Zimbabwe by confiscating productive  farms, killing or driving off the white owners and handing over the farms to his cronies. It is estimated that between two and three million Zimbabweans have died of malnutrition or at the hands of Mugabe's henchmen during his reign of terror.
